IRON REDUCTION
Borehole water comes from underground aquifers which often contain high levels of minerals such as iron and manganese. Even where the mineral concentrations are low, they cannot be ignored. Iron presents the greater problem only because it appears more frequently. The presence of iron alone or in combination with other contaminants leads to staining problems and can give the water an unpleasant, metallic taste.
An iron reduction filter will take away excessive minerals without adding chemicals.
