RISK ASSESSMENTS
A legionella risk assessment requires an audit of the system to establish
the areas most at risk from bacterial growth. The legionella
audit report becomes a working document used to implement an effective
legionella risk reduction strategy, control either by an outside agent,
for example Springhill, or managed by the client. The audit report
provides a basis on which the client can meet their legal duty of care
under HSE L8.
Fault Finding
Carried out by highly experienced engineers, Springhill offer a high level trouble
shooting service for all parts of the water distribution system. Followed up
by a written report, the expert analysis can be used to recommend appropriate
corrective action.
Chemical and microbiological analysis.
An integral part of the commissioning process, chemical and biological
testing including the total viable count of Bacteria, Coliforms,
Legionella, E.coli and Pseudomonas. In addition, many other site
specific tests can be carried out as part of a consultative investigation.
All samples are analysed by a UKAS laboratory with the sampling procedures
following their guidelines.
